Ursa will need your Shopify store URL to send you a collaborator access request. For security purposes, you'll also need to provide Ursa your collaborator access code.
Log in to your Shopify admin account. (https://www.shopify.com/ca/store-login)
Go to Settings (the gear icon in the bottom-left corner).
Click Users and Permissions.
In the Collaborators section, make sure the option "Only people with a collaborator request code can send a collaborator request" is enabled.
Copy the 4-digit collaborator code displayed on the page and send it to Ursa along with your store URL (ex: ma-boutique.myshopify.com)*
*How to find your store URL: Once you're logged in to Shopify, look at your browser's address bar. Your store name appears immediately after admin.shopify.com/store/.
Once Ursa has submitted its request:
You will receive an email from Shopify notifying you that an agency has requested access to your store.
Go back to Settings > Users and Permissions.
In the Collaborators section, you will see the agency's pending request. Click on the Ursa's name to review the request.
This is where you decide what Ursa can and cannot access. For a marketing agency, the following permissions are typically required:
Products: To create and manage Google Shopping or Facebook product feeds.
Marketing: To manage integrated marketing campaigns.
Analytics: To track performance and measure ROI.
Online Store (Themes): To install tracking pixels or make updates to landing pages.
Apps: To manage and integrate third-party tools such as Klaviyo, Google & YouTube, or Facebook.
What you should NOT grant access to (unless specifically required):
Do not provide access to Billing and Payments, User Management, or Store Owner permissions. A marketing agency should never need access to your payment information or sensitive account settings.
Once you’ve selected the appropriate permissions, click Accept Request. We’ll be notified immediately and can begin working on your account right away.
